AAAAAHHHHH ! i can’t believe Im home already !!! *kicks off shoes and lies back on sofa* wooohooo… ah, i wish it was that relaxing..but anyway.. im so freaking glad that Monday passed by soooo fast. Its awsome, I totally woke up on the wrong side of the bed.. omg.. U won’t believe what happened, but yeah i guess you won’t believe since i’m not going to tell =P
Anyway, argh, today was so messed up. Got back my Calculus *beeaaaauuutiiiful girlllllllll* sorry, random, it just came on tv =P ok, yeah got back my calculus results… that sean kingston guy looks so freaking young, like 12 or smthng.. no?
yeah anyway, calculus results.. omg.. =( sucks balls and mushrooms man.. haihz… oh The Apartment serves the most digusting ever mushroom u can ever imagine, looks like rotten wood and dead seaweed.. but.. it tastes sooooo gooooood ! yummmmy =) i aint a mushroom person =P but i love that mushroom. Button white mushroom from West Virginia are the best.. …. ok maybe not from West Virginia cause i just made that up, but yeah, Button mushrooms *thumbs up* .. now u know what to get for me for x-mas!!! IT’s coming !!!! =D wooohooooooo
so anyway.. we had this economics debate on Monetary policy VS fiscal policy, an on going debate that will never die down!!.. chose not to be one of the speakers cause I know i can’t speak, which sucks balls and coconuts, so i am determined to practice everyday in front of my neighbour’s dog who almost bit our *Geraldine and I* asses off when we were sitting on the house wall -.- but don’t worry, our asses are still proudly placed where it should be =D
so back to the debate, I wanted to speak up when the floor was open.. but being a wuss, i wrote down my points and passed it on to the speakers but some of them weren’t said. So, i shall bombard it here!
First of all, America is not the richest country in the world, It has tons of debts that still hasn’t been paid off and their living off borrowed money. Secondly, i don’t think Bush was elected by the people as President. Im sure he paid/bribed people -.- everyone hates him now..And if u follow the fiscal policy, you can reach economic growth in a shorter period of time..yes, you fall back down faster as well, but im sure with proper planning, we can avoid a deep fall, can’t we? iF you follow the monetary policy, it will take forever for you to reach maximum growth…and its not as though you don’t fall back down. You do, yes, and even though the falls are small, what makes you so sure that will be the pattern forever? In theory wise, it works out well, but in reality.. i don’t think so. It’s more practical to rise and fall. Nothing wrong with that, especially since the government works on decreasing the unemployment rate by lowering the interest rates in order to encourage consumers to spend more rather than save it in the bank. And ah hah!! Isn’t monetary policy around the same as fiscal policy ? in the sense that, every 6 weeks or so, a GROUP of people gather together to DECIDE on the interest rates? Doesn’t that sound familiar in the fiscal policy? The goverment makes decision for the greater good of the citizens. What makes u so sure that the decisions made by those GROUP of people will benefit the rest of the citizens? they may only pay attention to their own kind and leave the uneducated ones behind. Not good eh? How is their economy ever going to grow with people tagging far behind? And it is always better to have authority take control over what we, as normal everyday consumers, handle the big important things. It’s not as though we don’t have a chance to point out our view and opinions? Fiscal policy is not like socialism/communism where there is one authority who says it all. THe government is just helping to balance things out and play their part when needed. That’s all. With monetary policy, people are free with decision making, but ever heard of the saying, ‘too many cooks, spoil the broth’? yea, im sure that will happen. So, ah… FISCAL POLICY !!!!! WOOHOO !!
ok.. finally got that off my chest, I was so upset when i couldn’t tell anyone, now the whole world knows =D .. lol.. ok corny.. hope i made sense though.. =S i Think i didn’t but whatever, =P .. so.. Yeah, thats all.. can’t wait till next week =) or this Friday =) bleagh
